Each Spring, students deal with so much more stress than at other times of the school year. This is because of finals, SAT, keystones, AP testing, etc. There is so much spring testing happening to show your knowledge of what you learned throughout this school year. The testing is important, but so is students’ mental health. Preparation is one of the most crucial ways to help ace your test, or even take it stress-free, with some knowledge on the subject.

Testing can be more than just stress sometimes; it also takes good concentration and determination from the student. We need easy, but helpful strategies to help prepare a student for any important spring testing coming up.

Some strategies include short weekly review time. If you can squeeze in any short time or any free time you have on your hands, try to do a quick review with flashcards, a Quizlet, or any online study guides.

Another good strategy is to review and understand EACH question itself. Make sure each question you have a good knowledge of each question and are equally prepared for every topic/unit.  Review little chunks of each unit or any important specific units you’re expecting to see on the test.

Besides testing and studying strategies, mental health and stress-free strategies are just as important. Making sure that you can relax in the spring is a big part. If you have a study hall or any free periods, squeeze some time in. During school, you’re more motivated and have fewer distractions to finish any work or studying. It saves a lot of time at home, so you can have a lot of free time.

These are all very important, and help teenagers more than you think. Some teenagers need advice and help on how to deal with testing.

Overall, many teens struggle with how to deal with testing stress and how to study correctly without confusion.
