Beginning in December of 2026, all men between the ages of 18 and 25 are being registered for the military draft in all states.

The world has more recently been in a series of events that have caused chaos and raised tension among neighboring countries. The question of war has arisen and has already begun in Ukraine and Russia, and now Iran and America.
This calls for extreme measures and safety cautions regarding being prepared for any combat in war. This may not be the only reason for drafting men between the ages of 18 and 25, but people are wondering if this is the government preparing for war.
The last time the US had a draft was back in Vietnam in 1973. This is why it has come as a shock to many, as they believed a draft wouldn’t be necessary, because of the long period between the countries’ last conflict until now.

All men who do not apply will lose all state financial aid, State and Federal Employment, and if the individual is an immigrant, they will lose their US Citizenship. They will also receive a fine of up to 250,00 dollars.
The only exceptions would be if one were disabled or if their religion and beliefs go against war, but it still must be approved and checked to make sure one is not resisting the draft.
Resisting the draft may be a violation for men; however, women are not required to register for the military draft, but they can still voluntarily apply or enlist in the army. These tasks involve combat or out-of-combat work depending on their durability and strength.
Despite the concerns of the military draft, it is rather a very beneficial and smart decision to make, as it could come in handy in an emergency or under any perilous circumstances.
