We see teachers every day for an hour and a half, but what do we really know about them? Our teachers do not just focus on their subject areas, they have lives outside of their content. 

Mr. McGovern tried out for the US Olympic Rifle team in 2016, and has been to Russia two times

Mr. Ronalds used to work at Yale 

Mrs. Fitz was a UCA National Championship cheerleader

Mr. Antoni went to Palisades

Mr. Fedell played guitar in high school and built a guitar

Mrs. Lipton used to live in Poland

Mrs. LaFlamme climbed an active Sicilian volcano

Yes, teachers are focused in our academics but they are people too, connecting to us in ways that help us know that they care, while bringing their unique experiences to the classroom so we can gain from what they have learned along the way.
