The Cybersonics Team, Team 103, has been stellar in the past and has only been improving in the past few years. Cybersonics is a part of FRC, FIRST Robotic Competition, which is a program where students and mentors are given a game and rules, then they create a robot to play the game most efficiently. The season has kicked off with chatter of making it far from both students and mentors, and there are a handful of innovators at the helm of this resurgence of skill, creating the most effective robots for the 2026 season. It is currently build-season which means all the challenges are happening right now. Dylan Geroni, Junior, a Cybersonics member since 8th grade, said that, “communication is the most important challenge. Putting out your mind for the group and giving out ideas is very important”. The season is very demanding of every member involved. It is clear Cybersonics is less of a hobby and more of a lifestyle for most of the club. Every single member of Team 103 has their eyes on the prize for this year’s competition. The future of Cybersonics is not only this year’s competition but the future of Cybersonics as a whole. The Youth of Cybersonics is a force with no sign of stopping. No season is complete without its fair share of challenges and setbacks, but Team 103 is ready to take them on.
Past years for Cybersonics have been on a steady incline. Over the years, members have grown their engineering skills through rigorous trial and error and experiments. This season is nothing new for the Cybersonics team when it comes to communication. These members have been planting ideas and work-ethic into the minds of their youth to help them grow into the future. Junior Dakoda Underkofler, a hard-working builder, claimed that youth is “looking promising in the way they are showing leadership skills already,” which is repeated by Dylan Geroni. When they were interviewed, they only had smiles on their faces while talking about the upcoming season. Every member is very excited to get into the season and show what they are made of. Dylan and Dakoda are both hopeful for this season and many seasons to come. If anyone is interested in joining the team, it is recommended by Dylan that you display “Leadership, hard work ethic, and creativity,” which are only a few of the traits that define every Cybersonics member. If anyone is interested in joining Cybersonics, find Dylan Geroni, and he can help you join.
