World-famous singer, Taylor Swift, and other well-known celebrities made appearances at the 2024 Grammys. A few were known for a controversial moment, some were noted for winning one or more Grammys, and even more for their looks on the red carpet of the evening. 

Céline Dion presented Taylor Swift with the Album of the Year Award at the Grammys on Sunday. Swift was criticized for not acknowledging or greeting Dion when she accepted the award. It doesn’t appear there’s a feud between the stars; they were photographed hugging and smiling backstage afterward. 

With her Album of the Year win, Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album gives her the fourth win in her career which is the most for an artist. The other nominees for Album of the Year included Jon Batiste, boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA. 

Miley Cyrus won Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Cyrus has never won an Grammy award and now she has two. Miley Cyrus also had five different outfit changes throughout the night. She started with a custom John Galliano Maison Margiela couture dress that was being held together by safety pins for the red carpet. Then she went onstage to perform her Best Pop Solo Performance award in a high-neck jumpsuit covered in black sequins. She had another outfit change before singing her Grammy-winning song “Flowers” in a vintage mini dress from 2002. Next, she changed into a strapless sheer black catsuit with a beaded fringe belt. She ended the night by collecting the Record of the Year award wearing a beautiful brown one-shoulder Gucci gown. 

Ice Spice wore an iconic Y2K brand, Baby Phat. People are also saying that this Y2K style is meant to tie into her new album coming out soon.

Stars went all out for the 2024 Grammys looks, with Olivia Rodrigo wearing a vintage Versace white gown that seems to look like Marilyn Monroe’s Mr. President’s dress. Paris Hilton wore a Reem Arca gown, many commented looks like a mermaid. Coco Jones was in a stunning baby blue shimmering gown by Celia Kritharioti, and Tyla in a seafoam green dress with cutouts and mesh pieces by Rene Caovilla.
