When you look at today’s electronics, creations, and new inventions, you realize how much they have changed, improved, and gotten smarter. This is all because of AI. AI has had a significant impact on today’s world and the future, especially for teens.

Impact of Academics

Teens also use AI and ChatGPT as their main source of help in middle and high school on their school work. Research shows that 40% of users only use ChatGPT for math/school problems. This has also caused teenagers to do worse on quizzes or tests, not allowing them to use AI. This results in students declining in their skills, letting a computer do schoolwork for them.

Once students start to grow up and start their future, this could affect their learning and abilities in their future lives. Some high school students even change their college opinions based on fake or AI research that the college they chose was bad.

These issues with AI can change skills in people, especially young teens. AI has proven to lower teens’ school skills over the past years, by failing quizzes and tests, but getting 100% on assignments and homework. AI is promising to replace simple jobs in the future, which could be someone’s dream job.

Impact on Future Careers

Some teens see themselves in the future having careers in customer service, software programming, or graphic design; however, there is always a risk of AI taking over those jobs. Many of us teens can even be targets of AI. Many teens already know what they want in the future and have plans for college to pursue that. AI will only get smarter, and new inventions will be made, which means there’s always a possibility of taking someone’s future job.

AI is a very large company of people creating hard computer sciences to solve human-like problems and issues, at a very fast pace. Research by Barry Chudakov, Founder of Sertain Research, shows that all artificial intelligence machines or programs are trying to take over humans and their thoughts. Trying to change the hard work that humans do to earn a hard job that AI can easily take in 1 day.

Chudakov’s research shows that by 2040, most jobs that are at a level of work that a computer can do will most likely be taken over, and will be hard for a human to get. This is a target for teens currently, teens who are taking classes in high school, and planning on going to college for a specific job. This will be hard for them to earn.

AI started in 1952, when the first successful AI computer was created, changing the future of our world. Overall, AI has gotten a thousand times smarter and different from the way it was years ago, changing the way teens think or feel.

The next time you want to use AI for your answers, ask, “Is this really helping me?”
